The client places a verbal or written order with Classic International Consulting for personnel recruitment. Based upon the documents provided to Classic International Consulting (job description, selection criteria, etc.), we provide the services agreed upon in writing. All fees are understood to be without VAT. Fees and charges are payable in full within 30 days of the invoice date. Classic International Consulting will begin working on the search immediately after receiving the order. The fee for recruitment services is determined when the order is placed and is based upon the gross annual salary of the successful candidate. Invoices for services provided by Classic International Consulting are issued when an employment contract is legally signed. Should the client terminate the candidates employment agreement due to their performance within the first six months, we are obligated to find a replacement at no additional cost to the client.
If a client invites an applicant for an interview, then the client assumes the costs for that applicant’s travel and expenses.
Classic International Consulting maintains strict confidentiality regarding all personnel documents and files. Personnel files and documents remain the property of Classic International Consulting, and shall be handled with strict confidentiality by the clients. When not used, these files must be returned immediately to Classic International Consulting and they may never be made available to associated companies or third parties. Only those personnel files of applicants hired by the client shall become the property of the client. No third parties (references, former or current employers, etc.) may be contacted without the prior consent of Classic International Consulting or the applicant.
Classic International Consulting is not liable for a specific outcome. Classic International Consulting is not liable for the actual locating of potential employment contractual partners or even for the success or conclusion of employment contracts. Classic International Consulting is liable only for damages resulting from deliberate or gross negligence by Classic International Consulting, its legal representatives, or its vicarious agents, inasmuch as no guaranteed services or essential contractual obligations are affected. If Classic International Consulting is liable according to the aforementioned proviso, all liability is limited to the amount of the fee that has been paid up to the time of the violation. Classic International Consulting employees endeavor to protect the client’s business relationships when directly contacting potential applicants. Classic International Consulting, assumes no liability for any disputes arising from an indiscretion by a contacted person.
